Friday Late Afternoon--Buffalo Highlights from the North Unit...Can't Get Enough of Those Buff
these are shots from a 14 mile scenic drive through the north unit. the ranger told us we would see buffalo right at the beginning of the drive and there they were. i've never been so close! james kept asking me, "but why can't we get out of the car? why are they dangerous? why? "

I am glad you kept your head Elizabeth and insisted that James not play with the bison. After watching him in those go karts I can only to well imagine the racing about trying to touch each one.
The buffalo are amazing. Poor James having his sense of adventure crushed.
