(hmmm...she said "main attraction". did she mean the restaurant Space Aliens or...)
james ordered the ribs and said he'd never had them before--a claim i began to believe when the ribs arrived and he tried to slice them up with a knife and fork.
What she meant was that you don't eat ribs with a knife and fork - at least those that still have the bone on them. If he were a seasoned rib eater (like his mother) he would've known merely to pick them up and gnaw the meat off (like a chicken wing. I think the boy has plumped up a bit in the past 3 weeks. I remember the year Phil came back from Eliz's looking a bit rounder in the face. (so does he)
it's not my fault that the boys beg for ice cream, candy, and soda. however, in this case, james has been limited to one soda every four days and has eaten fruit and vegetables almost every day instead of french fries.(he had applecause with those ribs and low fat milk) he also swims and runs whenever he can and insists on getting his exercise and a multivitamin. so think he's fine!
